LOST WORLD - DAY WALK

Lost World is reached from Kerry, south of Beaudesert. The ascent to the ridge is fairly steep and slow. Sections of the razorback are narrow and exposed, and do require good balance. Not suitable for anybody nervous about heights, however spectacular views are obtained all along the razorback. Lunch is taken on the forested plateau-like top where a small waterfall provides an attractive side trip. The descent is initially the same way, taking a different ridge back to the cars.
